Privacy Policy

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:

• Your name and email address

• Your street address (for residence verification only)

• Your phone number (optional)

• Community activity — concerns raised, events attended, volunteer participation, stars given and received

• Basic device and browser information for platform performance

• Payment information — the platform is free for individual residents

• GPS or location data — your address is entered manually only, never detected automatically

• Social media accounts or external profiles

• Browsing history outside our platform

• Any information not directly provided by you

• Verify your residence in a neighborhood community

• Connect you with your neighbors through the platform

• Send notifications you have explicitly opted into

• Improve platform performance and reliability

• Communicate with you about your account when necessary

• Sell your personal information — ever, under any circumstances

• Share your address with other residents

• Reveal your identity when you choose to remain anonymous

• Use your data for advertising or marketing by third parties

• Access your account without a legitimate platform reason

Your street address is collected for residence verification only. It is never shown publicly on the platform. It is visible only to credentialed community managers (MGR and ADMIN level) for the purpose of verifying and approving your membership.

Your full name is never shown publicly without your consent. Other residents see either your chosen display name or your Neighbor ID — never both at the same time. Your full name is visible only to community managers. This design prevents cross-referencing of identities.

When anonymous mode is enabled, your Neighbor ID is shown instead of your name. Your real identity is never revealed to other residents — only to credentialed community managers who require it for platform governance. Concerns you raise are always anonymous — your identity is never attached to a concern submission.

Resolved concerns are automatically deleted after 30 days. Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@paxhood.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We use the following trusted services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — secure database storage (supabase.com)

• Resend — email delivery (resend.com)

• Vercel — platform hosting (vercel.com)

Each maintains their own privacy and security standards. We share only the minimum information necessary for each service to function.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you

• Correct any inaccurate information in your profile

• Delete your account and all associated data

• Opt out of non-essential notifications at any time from your profile settings

We may update this policy occasionally as the platform evolves. We will notify registered members of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
