Terms of Use

This agreement is between you — an individual resident — and Paxhood. It covers your personal use of the platform as a community member. If you are a community management organization, a separate agreement applies.

Your access as an individual resident is free of charge. No fees, no subscriptions, no hidden costs. Ever. Community administrative plans are separate agreements between Paxhood and community management organizations — not individual residents.

No threats, harassment, or abusive language toward any resident or community member. No impersonation of other residents or community roles. Treat every neighbor the way you would want to be treated in person.

Your name, address, and identity information must be accurate. False or misleading registrations will be removed. The integrity of the community depends on honest participation.

You may not attempt to identify anonymous residents from their Neighbor ID, concern submissions, or any other platform activity. Violating a neighbor's anonymity is a serious breach of community trust and grounds for immediate removal.

The concern system exists to preserve community well-being — not for personal vendettas, harassment campaigns, or repeated targeting of specific residents. Abuse of the concern system will result in reduced report weight and possible suspension.

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. We never sell your personal information. Your address is used for verification only and is never shown publicly. Your name is visible only to community managers — never to standard residents.

Paxhood reserves the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, disrupts community harmony, or engages in fraudulent activity. Where possible, we will attempt to resolve issues through the community process before taking action.

We may update these terms occasionally as the platform evolves. We will notify registered members of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Paxhood and all associated concepts, systems, and processes are the intellectual property of Paxhood.

The following are proprietary and protected:

• The Links Philosophy — the framework of individual, family, neighborhood, and community as interconnected links

• Lives & Gifting System — the annual Life credit system enabling residents to request volunteer help

• Democratic Drawing Process — the random selection system for community role assignment

• The Third Line Parade™ — the annual neighborhood celebration concept

• Paxhood — name and brand

Unauthorized reproduction, imitation, or commercial use of any of these concepts, systems, or processes — in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Paxhood is not liable for:

• Any disputes, conflicts, or damages arising between community members

• Misuse of the platform by any resident or community manager

• Platform downtime, technical errors, or service interruptions beyond our control

• Actions taken by community managers or residents that affect other members

• Any loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform

We promise to try our best — always. We built Paxhood because we genuinely believe in what it can do for communities. We will work tirelessly to keep it running, improving, and serving you well. But we are a small team with big dreams, and we ask for your patience and understanding when things don't go perfectly.

We encourage our community members to support us voluntarily — through donations, purchasing our merchandise, or simply spreading the word. Your support keeps this platform free for everyone and helps us continue building something we believe the world needs.
