Everything we build begins with one simple question: Does this strengthen the neighborhood? If the answer is no, we don't build it.
The neighborhood and social platforms many of us already use are effective for sharing information and starting conversations. Most are built around advertising, engagement, and data-driven algorithms.
Paxhood was created with a different purpose — to become the operating system for your neighborhood.
It gives neighbors structured tools to organize events, volunteer, request help, recognize positive contributions, recommend trusted services, raise meaningful concerns, and resolve issues before they become larger conflicts.
We measure success differently.
Most platforms measure time spent, clicks, and engagement. Paxhood measures neighbors helping neighbors, problems resolved, volunteers participating, trust built, and communities becoming stronger.
Purpose before engagement.
Every platform needs a business model. Many optimize for attention. We intentionally optimize for purpose.
Our goal is not to keep you on Paxhood. Our goal is to help you spend more meaningful time in your neighborhood.
Our promise
We will continue building features that strengthen neighborhoods, encourage participation, promote fairness, and help residents work together — not simply interact with one another.
Purpose is our algorithm. People are our priority.
Most platforms help neighbors communicate. Paxhood helps neighborhoods function.
